  • Emotional regulation and self-awareness
  • Building motivation and reducing procrastination
  • Navigating peer relationships and social challenges
  • Managing school-related stress
  • Strengthening self-esteem and a positive self-image

Coaching sessions take place in our calm, welcoming therapy rooms designed to help children and young people feel at ease. Depending on your child’s age and needs, we may bring in resources or toys to support the process. Alternatively, for those not local, we can offer online coaching session for children of secondary school age.

What is ADHD/Neurodiversity Coaching?

ADHD/Neurodiversity coaching is designed to help children better understand themselves, their challenges and strengths and how neurodivergence affects their lives. Sessions work to build confidence, develop practical strategies to manage challenges – both at home and in school – and find habits and routines that personally work for them.

ADHD/Neurodiversity coaching is a collaborative and goal-oriented process. Unlike therapy/counselling, which may focus on past experiences or emotional healing, coaching is future-focused and solution-driven.

Sessions are tailored to the individual. Every child with ADHD/neurodiversity is unique, and so are their needs. Some children benefit from learning how to break down homework tasks, improve morning or bedtime routines, or manage social interactions more confidently. Others may need support with self-esteem, motivation, or setting and achieving personal goals. Whatever your child’s challenges, we can provide structured support in a safe and encouraging environment.

We have a range of different options listed below, depending on what you feel would work best for your child and your family.

Session Structure & Fees

Coaching Option 1: Child /Adolescent Sessions

Coaching sessions for children usually take place once a fortnight, at the same time and on the same day each week to provide consistency. Sessions are typically held in person at our clinic, although we are always happy to be flexible where possible. We can offer remote sessions to children of secondary school age, if more appropriate.  If weekly or monthly sessions would work better for your child and family, we can accommodate this.

Each session lasts 45 minutes and is £125 (inclusive of VAT). This fee also includes email updates to parents, where appropriate.

The number of sessions needed varies from child to child. However, we generally recommend committing to at least five sessions. Building trust and rapport takes time, and these early sessions allow your child to develop a connection with their coach while giving us the opportunity to understand their individual needs and identify the approaches that will best support them. There is no requirement to pay for all five sessions upfront.

The Process
If you are considering coaching for your child, we offer a complimentary 15-minute video or telephone call with Caroline, our coach. This gives you the opportunity to ask any questions, understand her approach, and decide whether coaching feels like the right fit before making any commitment.

If you would like a longer parent consultation – either before coaching begins or at any point during the process – this can also be arranged. Parent sessions are 45 minutes and are charged at £125 (inclusive of VAT) per session.

Coaching Option 2: Family Sessions or Co-Coaching

Over a 10-week period, sessions can alternate weekly between your child and you as the parent, with a total of 10 sessions – 5 for your child and 5 for you. Child sessions are typically held in person at the clinic, providing a supportive and engaging environment. Parent sessions are delivered via video call, scheduled at a mutually convenient time, allowing for flexibility and ease of access. This alternating structure ensures that both the child and parent receive focused, tailored support throughout the coaching process.

Each session lasts 45 minutes and is £125 (inclusive of VAT).

For children who are not yet ready to attend alone, we can also offer co-coaching sessions, whereby parent(s) and child attend together once a fortnight. These sessions are charged at £125 (inclusive of VAT).

Coaching Option 3: Parent Sessions

If your child is under the age of 8, is not yet ready to participate in coaching sessions themselves, or if you would benefit from some initial guidance and support as a parent, we offer a 90-minute online parent coaching session. This session is designed to help you better understand and support your child if they have ADHD or another form of neurodivergence, or if you suspect they may be neurodivergent. A formal diagnosis is not required to access this support.

This session is designed to empower you with practical tools and insights tailored to your child’s unique needs. Areas of focus may include building effective routines, setting boundaries, navigating home-life behaviours (such as following instructions, emotional regulation, and coping with transitions), as well as supporting overall wellbeing—covering topics like sleep, nutrition, hydration, and screen time.
It’s a valuable starting point for parents seeking clarity, confidence, and connection in supporting their neurodivergent child.
The cost of this session is £250 (inclusive of VAT).

Follow-up sessions can be arranged on a regular or ad-hoc basis, depending on need, with follow-up sessions lasting 45-minutes, thereafter charged at £125 (inclusive of VAT).

We can additionally offer ‘Couple Coaching’. These sessions help parents work from a shared understanding so their child can feel secure and understood. Often, parents have different interpretations of their child’s needs or use conflicting approaches, which can be confusing and overwhelming for the child. Through guided sessions, we help couples align their communication, clarify shared goals, and create a consistent, supportive environment where their child can thrive. These sessions are charged at £250 (inclusive of VAT) for a 90-minute session.
